WHAT IS THE BLOGGER RECOGNITION AWARD?
The blogger’s recognition award is an award handed out by bloggers to bloggers to recognize the hard work they are putting into their blog. It helps bloggers connect with new readers and is a symbol of approval and motivation. I am thankful to The Crafty Cat for nominating me for the Blogger Recognition Award, it means a lot.
Update: Since I published this post, I received another nomination from Teacher Librarian For Life. Her blog is for Teachers, Readers, and Life. Thank you for the nomination!
I started blogging about a year ago, however, it wasn’t until recently I started taking the craft seriously. I really wanted to find a way I could mix business with pleasure. What I mean by this is, simply taking my interest in blogging and finding a way to monetize what I do. I’ve seen some success for myself along the way, but I realize there is a lot of work involved in this kind of business. I’m enjoying the ride so far and hope that I can at least provide some insight to those looking to join the fun. 🙂
ADVICE FOR NEW BLOGGERS
Make sure you truly love blogging before you jump into this. To stay motivated in this industry, you have to enjoy what you do. Find a niche, research it, and create a foundation to keep people interested. Blogging is only fun if you have an audience. I encourage new bloggers to learn from others who’ve come before them. Here is a great article where I interviewed 24 bloggers about what they’ve learned starting out blogging.
Congrats to all of you, your blogs are beautiful! Keep up the good work!!!
Thank the blogger who nominated you and leave a link to their blog.
